sentimental outlook
For some reason, I'm falling again for fashion male model Terron Wood. I think it's his positive aura that he brings to and off the camera. This Oregon native has been in the fashion industry for quite awhile since 2006. I just can't get enough of his natural radiant beauty. From his sun kissed complexion to his evenly toned body and to his charmingly sweet smile, Terron is one of those rare top male models that will never go out of style. What makes him the "it" boy for me is that he has a dynamic charisma with a heart of gold that makes him unique and grounded as a person. In the upcoming future, I would love to see him grace the cover of Italian Vogue with another top female model like Caroline Winberg and Derek Huckins did in issue Feb '04.
a little more higher
Are the 1990's fashion styles really making a comeback? As of right now, it's progressively making it's way back which I do hope it does. These frisky dark beige suede high waisted pleated shorts are just a perfect look on a nice sunny day out shopping. It's a new reinvented look with a more softter appeal. I personally think that brown tones always makes the suitable color for these type of shorts. These would go so well with a cream ankle boots with an oversize navy blue fringe leather bag.

Boarding School DNA
When I think boarding school, I think of young men that are well dressed in dark blue blazers with the school patch on the breasted side of the blazer. Miuccia took the whole idea and made her own visionary. Dark beige button down shirt, mocha brown fitted short trousers, & tobacco brown oxford shoes with knee high black socks. If only more men had the confidence to wear this type of look. I find it very school boy prep with a more Miuccia interpretation style. I am in need of the dark tobacco brown oxford lace shoes that can be worn how it is or with a fitted dark blue jean trousers for a more sleeker look.
city slickers
A little sheer, a hint of biker chick, & a splash of masculinity tailoring, together you get the Michael Kors look. I love the whole idea of mixing different fashion eras looks. My personal favorite pieces is the oversize men's blazer that gives contrast with the whole look and the leather semi high waisted mini skirt with studded detailing. Just a classic look with more of a harder edge that can be worn on a girl night out. Top this look with a shining black clutch with black sling backs for more of a sophisticated urban look.

a favorable Daria
It's so nice to see one of your favorite top model grace Vogue covers, especially Daria Werbowy. This year not only does she does Vogue Nippon for January 2010, she also graces Vogue Paris for February 2010. That is a true supermodel sought after. I personally love how she looks on this cover for Nippon. Head to toe ChloƩ Fall Winter 2009 collection pieces. The new proportions, mix of color, and the freedom of comfort. I am in need of that blanket cape coat. It reminds me of the Ten Commandments movie of Moses that he wore towards.
like second skin
It seems hard to figure out which delicate pieces goes well with other pieces? You always want to find something that is not so extravagant than your delicate piece to balance the two. For instance, the cotton silk light beige loose fit button down shirt goes so well against the black and dark beige chiffon long pleated full skirt. You can a feeling of a relaxed and airy feel without being too aggressive. It's about mixing the masculinity and femininity, together you get a whole new perspective look.

The Authenticity Pair
The most important pair of shoes a women must have in her shoe closet is a classic pair of black pointed pumps with a thin high stiletto. Not any of those chunky square heels or rounded front heels and when I mean pointed, I mean pointed like an arrow. These are the most versatile pair of heels a women can ask for. You can do a high waisted trouser, full length skirt, knicker pants, micro mini dress, or even a black jersey velvet overalls. You just can't go wrong, the looks are endless.
painting with paillettes
In this day of age, men shouldn't fear to wear things that have a feminine side. But it all depends on how you wear it. This gold sequins blazer number is just an example that you can wear it with a casual beige cashmere turtleneck with fitted black trousers on any given occasion. It brings a whole new level of statement with such a simple look. Remember, mix one bold statement with a simple essentials to bring the best of both of them.

top it off
With this Pre-Fall Winter 2010 look, you can never go wrong with a decedent mocha caramel cape coat over a neutral tone chiffon short dress with a pair of mule shoes. Hannah MacGibbon truly understands the ChloƩ women desire in her wardrobe. It's about the freedom of masculinity comfort with a grace of femininity. Hence, keep a minimal hint of makeup with a highlighted cheek bones and a very nude lip for a nostalgic beauty.

reinventing archives
Are the early 90's fashion styles are slowly making a comeback? Yes, but more in a modest and subtle attempt without all the who-ha. This new century of 2010 is bringing back the looseness and comfort dressing. Big comeback of the drapey wide-hip and narrow ankle trousers. Same with an oversize military long trench coat in navy blue would work with any easy day look. Remember, it's about taking a classic 90's key piece and changing it to more of an updated look.

Spaniard Blood
Mr. Antonio Navas is one of the top leading Spanish male models in the fashion industry aside of Jon Kortajarena and AndrƩs Velencoso. This Spanish chico hails from the beautiful city life Barcelona, Spain. With his sultry eyes and exotic dark features, Antonio has that reminiscence version of the 90's male supermodels. What I love about him is that he has that certain look that keeps you wondering, "Who is he?" He's definitely in my top 10 male supermodel list.
tasteful delight
A woman shouldn't just like her shoes, she must be in love with every pair she owns. These dazzling light olive pumps with a thick T-strap of chunky rhinestone double bow detailing featured at the ChloƩ Fall Winter 2009 collection. These pumps can work with almost any look whether it's folded loose trousers or a velvet pencil on any special day look. Hannah MacGibbon, creative director for ChloƩ knows exactly what the ChloƩ women wants in her wardrobe.

an unveiling masculinity
Loris Diran first menswear collection for Spring Summer 2010 was a delightful presentation. It was classic American sportswear with his own personal flair. Neutral tones mix with bright colors and patterns of classic pieces is what his Spring Summer collection was all about. I just knew I was a fan already. This light overcoat pattern print with matching belt tie, slightly loose white trousers, & crisp white collar that just made this look sophisticated with ease.
the new generation
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Karlie Kloss is one of the top models in the fashion industry. Just recently graced the cover of Vogue Italia by Steven Meisel and Vogue Paris declared her one of the top 30 models of the 2000's. This 17 year old ballet dancer has the innocent doll like face with a modest personality. With her signature sway motion walk and stoned death stare, no wonder she is the muse for many fashion designers and photographers with her natural calm beauty and piercing stare.

classic games
Nicolas Hoult plays Kenny in the greatest hit film: A Single Man directed by Tom Ford shown here wearing this gorgeous thick cashmere wool sweater in ivory. What I find so special about this sweater is that the crew neck has a slightly wider open length and width that wearing a collar shirt underneath, it gives contrast and more of a vintage classic feel. As soon as I saw the movie, I was just obsessed with this sweater that I knew I had to have one for myself, though it maybe hard to find one since it's an original style.
perpetual outlook
One of my favorite Prada ad campaigns was the Spring Summer 2003 featured model Elise Crombez. It had a 1960's mod vibe with the whole Penelope Tree black drawn eye makeup and very nude lip. I just love the easy going style of the metal handle handbag, boy brief shorts, & turtleneck sweater. You really feel like this photograph was taken back during the actual mod days of fashion. Photographed by the notorious Steven Meisel. Just another classic Prada ad archive.

eccentric behavior
The perfect look if I had my own private Jet going to Sydney, Australia would definitely be this pure white number of a sports jacket, utility trousers with pockets detailing, & heather gray cashmere sweater underneath it. Featured at the Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 collection. Structured clothes with a lot of comfort and delicious easy fabrics. This look can be worn from day to night and not looking over the top nor to casual. It's about putting together the familiar with the unfamiliar and together combined you get the best of both.

Fearless Persona
Stunningly chic, Jessica Miller has an undeniable classic beauty that you got to have another glance at her. She was featured on the cover of Italian Vogue Feb '03 taken here by Steven Meisel wearing a lilac satin silk dress with the first look of the Murakami handbags, all by Louis Vuitton. I am just captivated by Jessica's natural yet refreshing beauty. The makeup has a fanciful motif with the fury eyebrows, light magenta high blush cheeks, matte skin, and a very nude lip. An introductory to the "spring look".

celestial power
Subtle sexy is my number key when it comes to dressing. I love it when a woman can show some skin but keeps a mystery for everyone wanting more. This Sleeveless translucent white chiffon button down dress with a skinny teal belt with bright color mum flowers reveals this upcoming spring summer for Rochas by Marco Zanini. The underneath printed dark bra is what makes this look sensual but not exaggerated. A look that I know for sure I would wear if I were a cute young girl walking on a sunny day at the french Riviera beach.
breaking boundaries
I instantly fell in love with this Prada ad campaign for Spring Summer 2001. It's like a private beach for young people that don't necessarily dress in beach wear but decides to still wear their day clothes and still get a tan. I love the minimal style of the full skirts, button down polos, short shorts, & long sleeve mid riffs gave this beach a new level of a "breath of fresh air" feel. The floral print that came in black and white was the ideal theme for the Prada spring summer season. With the right punch of bright colors of orange, yellow, & red made these ads stand out. Now I want to buy at least one Prada item from these ads that can go with any of my clothes.

with an accent
Ever thought about, "How can I add a special touch to a look without over doing it?" I say adding a flower pin can never go wrong with any look. Whether it's a sequin white one shown here at the Chanel Spring Summer 2006 collection or fabrication flowers such as a organza would definitely would work too. They add a festive yet romantic side to any look. Depending on your style, you can use a oversize to a tiny flower pin depending on your liking. I personally love an oversize flower pin since it really makes that statement. Remember, if your wearing a dark solid blouse top or dress then go with a flower that is a light color to compliment the overall look and vise versa.

architectural piece
When you think of urban style, you think constructive and balanced. This Michael Kors box shoulder bag or clutch is one of the key pieces to have in your wardrobe for this coming spring summer 2010. Solid shape of a rectangular box in colors of: white, silver, black, & nude with silver metal detailing on sides and hardware with a adjustable strap to suit your style. A ultra chic accessory bag to hold your personal needs that can go with any day look.

lady of the house
50's with minimal 80's flair is what Miuccia was thinking for her Spring Summer 2001 Prada collection. Navy blue cashmere turtleneck sweater, chunky orange horizontal pinstripe jersey fitted pencil skirt, and cat eye sunglasses is a new version of a housewife in the 21st century. I like the cleanliness and semi mod sensuality of this look put together. This feminine sexuality is exactly my definition of, "you can still be sexy, even covered up and showing little skin." A look to wear with the girlfriends at a casual dinner party without looking overly dressed up but still sufficient.

sensual dressing
I just love the new modern version of a tie dye which now a days consist only one shade of color compared before to a multiple shades. This pastel green tie dye on a white long sleeve jersey short dress featured at the Celine Spring Summer 2000 collection by Michael Kors. It's one of those comfortable jersey dressing yet has a sex appeal without trying. This would look opulent with a slip on stiletto high heel with a luxurious orange Heremes Birkin bag. Keeping this look simple and clean with no accessories.

hint of shine
It's about having a hint of shine on the feet. Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 was about shine, architectural, & urban city. These super chic silver toe cap sling back in nude leather are a must have for this coming spring season. Best to wear with a full skirt solid pastel color with white fitted collar shirt or white fitted short trousers and cashmere crew neck sweater. It's about minimalist style with a sharper tone.
Loungy Casual
One of Chloe's signature pieces is always a wonderful styled cape coat that can be worn with any casual day look. This semi rustic light sage linen cape coat with buckle tie and button down is a new take of a cape coat. Ultra sporty with a less harder edge. I love the underneath outfit of the high waisted loose shorts with the oversize two front pockets that just gives it a humor side. A relaxing outfit to wear on a less cold yet warm day to just feel at ease.

The Lipstick Skirt
Looking back exactly 10 years ago, this pleated full skirt in a gray lipstick bottle print was featured at the Prada Spring Summer 2000 collection was one of the classic pieces that Miuccia created. I just love how simple yet chic this skirt is but has a sense of message behind it with the printed lipsticks. This was also featured on the comedy hit TV show and my personally favorite "Sex and The City" with Charlotte York wearing it in the red lipstick print when she first met Trey. This would look flawless to wear with a tucked in ivory cardigan sweater or a white rolled up button down long sleeve with simple dark brown pointed pumps.

at ease
I'm a huge fan of criss-cross flat sandals, especially in dark tobacco brown leather. Ugh! that just makes these Chloe flat sandals even more special. Featured at the Chloe Spring Summer 2010 collection. Fabulous to wear with a skinny linen trousers. A women needs a pair of flat sandals in her wardrobe to rest those soles every once in awhile.

the Victoria bag
Last weekend, my friend and I went to South Coast Plaza. As were browsing around we decided to check out the Chloe boutique. I got sprung over all the delicious clothing & accessories. But what brought to my attention was this gorgeous luxuriously Victoria tote bag. Featured here is a Tan leather with buckle details and metal hardware. The one I saw at the Chloe store was this beautiful ivory/gray that was just impeccable. I also like the fact the Chloe logo is small and isn't so flashy like other logo hand bags. Simple yet chic that can go with any look for the winter season.
Bailey's Muse
British young lad, Jeremy Young is making it big in the fashion industry grabbing all major Burberry ad campaigns season to season. With his luscious dark brown hair, semi pale clear skin, crystal piercing blue eyes, & chiseled facial bone structure. He is the desire of every fashion designer and photographer. What makes him an "it boy" for me is that he has a charming personality and his professionalism. He maybe the new Mathias Lauridsen.

beaming with shine
When you think Prada, you think: "What will Miuccia come up with next?" And boy did she came up with something new for this coming Spring Summer 2010. She was inspired by crystal chandelier silhouettes pieces. I am dying over this gorgeous crystal chandelier fitted pencil skirt with a white long sleeve dress shirt underneath. I love the contrast of the two pieces combined mixing a basic with something transparent delicate. Most definitely I would wear this crystal chandelier pencil skirt with a silver toe cap heel and a nude box clutch bag if I were a girl on a special night with my boyfriend.
