new shapes
Hannah Macgibbon is the chief creative designer for the french house of ChloƩ. She really takes pride in her work from the details to the usage of different fabrics. I adore this translucent chiffon cream full length pleated skirt and oversize eggshell sports coat with a fitted tucked in cardigan blouse underneath. It's combining all the key pieces from the past and creating a new frame. Women can still be sexy without show skin. Just wear the clothes and feel it then you will see.

women's menswear
From the sharply ironed crisp trousers to the tweed largely flat top hat, these are the elements for a ladylike chic when it comes to Coco Chanel. Teal against black is what makes this look stand out in many ways. I love a dash of color against black, it just makes the color look more louder than it is. Of course you've got to have the signature tweed jacket that can go with almost anything. I find it so elegant for a women to wear menswear inspired clothing but with a feminine flair. It gives a more highly styled structure to the body.

Reinventing a new Mademoiselle
The Chanel suit will never be out of style. Karl Lagerfeld will do a little here and there change but keeping the DNA the same. For this fall 2009, a few changes were: a more a detail ruffle cuff sleeve, an accessorized necklaces, & a oversize round hat with tweed detailing. Though somethings do look a bit off at first, you start to appreciate how everything balances each other. I think the greatest investment would be the Chanel tweed jacket because it can work with any outfit whether it's jeans or pencil skirt, it gives a certain timeless look that never goes out of style.
