2 combine

Is it just me but when it comes to dressing up, most of the time you just want to feel comfortable but yet still look effortlessly chic. The best way to achieve a look like that is always pair one casual look such as these medium wash jeans with a ultra chic pastel mint green cashmere crew neck sweater. The two combine you get a simple but yet easy feel. Messy slick back hair with plastic black framed sunglasses makes the look even more refined with a bit sporty attitude.

beneath it all

Their are two types of makeup looks that I like. One is the most natural yet subtle makeup that isn't so noticeable. Very healthy clear skin with a thick furry eyebrow is so youthful and refreshing and lets not forget a natural matte nude lip works best. The second makeup look that I like is a strong eye whether it's a smoky eye or a metallic midnight blue smug around the eye for those daring looks always works best. But regular makeup isn't always about putting so much on, it's about concealing the little here and there imperfections and making a very natural face that isn't noticeable.

Exemplary deal

I just recently started to fall in love with John Richmond fashion designs. He knows exactly what the edgy fashionable man wants in his wardrobe or accessories. The main focus on his Fall Winter 2008 collection was a rich classic man that lives during the mid 1970's. He appreciates strong tailoring and richly fabrics. I personally love the short brim wool felt hat in this cream color. It's feminine but yet less floppy than a womens hat. Super stylish and bold to wear with any look. Whether short torn denim trousers with a cotton jersey top or a tailored suit, it works all around. Great accessory hat to wear for the Summer beach party or a total statement event.

To a Structured Form

The new young model Ryan Koning hailing from Minnesota is making a huge departure for Tom Ford designs. This gorgeous dirty blonde is making his way to the top in the fashion gig starting with Tom Ford. I love this impeccable double breasted gray and white plaid print. A true classic look to have in any mans wardrobe. The one thing that makes it versatile is that you can wear it with a white v neck tee underneath or a dress shirt shown. top it with black fitted trousers and plastic frame aviators for a true Tom Ford look. It's the form you pay first then the name is second.

true sport

So in this case, if I were a cute young girl with long legs and a tone body in Rio De Janeiro, this is my day party outfit, no doubt. I love the usage of floral printed colors of: yellow, lilac purple, lighted pastel green, white, & light sea water green. Featured at the Versace Spring Summer 2004. Donatella brought back the print factor at this collection. She took her brother Gianni's famous prints and added her style to it with a more delicate touch. I love the lightness and ease. Wear it with silver x strappy sandals and a maroon snakeskin clutch for a more fashionable statement.

La Perla moment

I've always dreamed of having my own architectural dream home wearing a beautifully silk jersey robe over looking at the ocean on my balcony. Now this one of the long oversize robes I would definitely wear in a heart beat. I love the fact of wearing something so delicate and it feels sensual to the touch. Almost like a second layer of skin. You can wear this as a overcoat dress with a mini dress underneath to bare some skin. It's about feeling seductive without being overpowered of what your wearing.

straight diva

Early Donatella Versace used a lot of Jersey drapery dressing for her gowns. And I miss a lot of that style now a days. This is one of my favorite Jersey dress shown at the Versace Spring Summer 2000. I love how it contours the breast to the detailing of the ruched and the high side slit. A gorgeous piece to wear at a Riviera yacht boat party. Match it with big semi oval rounded fuchsia sunglasses and big sexy waves for 70's modern chic look. It's not how you wear it, it's a presence that you bring within the clothes.

la oficina

Laura Blokina is a new model in the fashion industry. What caught my eye this photograph of her looking mysteriously chic in a office with a tweeted mini skirt, deep v neck blouse with mini detailing, oversize blazer, and a Chanel tweed purse. She is totally giving you smize as Tyra Banks would say. You can a Tom Ford vibe with this photograph because of the glasses reminded me of his early millennium Gucci ads.

a new direction

Miss Werbowy, one of my favorite top models shown here in an editorial wearing Dior Fall Winter 2003. This was the hardcore Dior collection mix of the S&M style but taken in a Galliano vocabulary way. I love everything about this photograph. From the abandoned setting to the pose of Daria to the delicious crazy modernized strap pump in yellow snakeskin print. This is a true editorial shot that it's sexy in another language but still sensual. And that I love the most when it comes to high fashion.

merging the two

I love the mix of the soft with the edge. It's about putting together a look that you get a little innocence with a little hard edge, together you get a new perspective outcome. The soft being the white translucent chiffon long sleeve blouse and the edgy shining silver mini fitted skirt. I would wear this look with a nude lambskin flap clutch bag with tobacco brown lace up heels and silver mini chain necklace. Don't be scared to mix and match, now a days fashion isn't about matching color tones. It's about whether the clothes go right together like a story line.

Carnal Desire

Who would of ever thought Selma Blair would be on the cover of Vogue Italia July 2002. Though it's for the Cahier Des DĆ©filĆ©s supplement, I still think this cover should of been an official Vogue Italia cover. I love the fact it's black and white and it has a reminiscences of the 1950's movie star still film image. Selma just looks effortlessly chic lounging on a boudoir sofa. I miss  these type of classic beauty shots in magazines. Only the infamous Steven Meisel shot this. I believe beauty come first within the eyes, then everything follows. It's not always about showing or being sexy, the question is: Can you bring the seduction or sensuality within? Because Selma sure did in this photograph. Thank You Selma Blair & Steven Meisel for this immaculate cover.

playing games

It's so nice to see Michael Kors use pastel colors for his Spring Summer 2010 collection. Pastels of lilac, sage, & sky blue. These two looks were my personal favorite from the collection. I love the neutral khaki trousers with the open pocket square detail and capris length trousers. Especially with the cotton pastel tones long sleeve sweaters. I just love how Michael added the cut out detail around the neck, wrist sleeve, and bottom torso for a destructed delicate look. A total must have for this Summer look. It's about feeling comfortable and adding detailed looks to make even the most simplest things look edgier.

color delusion

You must got to have at least one single shoulder dress for this summer. It's feminine, chic, and ultra languidly sexy. This one in particular is one of my favorite from Celine Spring Summer 2000 by Michael Kors. Pastel blue tie dye with white. A subtle take on the 80's tie die in a more calm and easy finish. Wear your hair in a high thick ponytail with a bent wave for a 60's Valley of the girls look. Top it off with goggle sunglasses and white patent leather slip on heels for a Riviera resort look.

feel the ease

Though this look is so simple, I love the oversize black cashmere cardigan with the white loose cotton jersey tee and loose pin stripe trousers. It's a taking 70's flair with a Mister Roger's feel but more refined easy dressing. My personal favorite key pieces in this look is the black cardgian sweater since you can wear that with almost anything without looking to casual. The black messenger bag is a perfect slick look finish with any day outfit. And the black oval buckle belt that gives a cowboy yet urban city polish. When it comes to easy dresing, always rely on Michael Kors. It's about combining easy pieces with strong bold accessories that bring a new twist dressing.

greatest expectations

The other day I was browsing for something and I came across this picture of top models Constance Jablonski & Thomas Hoefnagels backstage at Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010. I love how they look together. I totally think they would make a cute couple. She has the dirty blonde beach girl look going on and he has that mysterious dark hair westside story bad boy vibe. Wish more younger couples can dress and look this sleek anytime of the week.

splendid time

Summer is around the corner, prepare yourself to bare some skin whether your just lounge near the pool or actually at the beach. I know if I were a cute young girl, I'm definitely a one piece swimsuit gal. This super provocative yet chic one piece swimsuit by Versus Spring Summer 2004 is on my list of a must have. I love how it's a tube style with an open cleavage. The color of dark pink bands, aqua blue with black pills print makes a refine statement. Gorgeous with a very clean slick back high ponytail and orange red thin strappy heels for a high society style.

tasteful individual

When I first saw Tom Warren on the catwalks, I really didn't think much of him. But after seeming him after season, their is something that I find catchy about him when you look closely. This British lad hailing from London is quite different than other male models. He has such a refreshing youthful classic edge look. I wish the male modeling industry can go back to the classic male model image that looked healthier and has meat on them. Here are recent polaroid pictures of him. Doesn't he just look ubberly delicious.

calming society

I love the whole idea of wearing a simple long sleeve jersey cotton crew neck top with a bikini bottom to just lounge at the beach or near your pool rather than taking a dip. It's about feeling comfortable and ease sensual sexy. You don't need to wear a two piece bikini top just because your wearing the bikini bottom. You can still throw on a simple top shown here at the Celine Spring Summer 2000 or a caftan for more of a boho dressing. I think it's sexier when a women covers up but shows some skin, keeps it a mystery.

The Kass Chain

This Kass chain bag by Michael Kors grew on me and since I saw it at the Michael Kors boutique store, I'm sold to purchasing it. I love how it only comes in two colors: black and white. Very simple but yet has a cool clear plastic chain with metal links. Wear this with a one piece black swim suit or with a tube full skirt dress on a low Thursday afternoon at a luncheon. What I love is that it isn't flashy but it has a certain edge that you just gotta look at it and see what it has to offer.

hidden shadows

If I were to be in the city of Portofino right now, this look would be my first outfit being there. A black jersey body suit with a neutral delicate floral light silk/cotton over coat with a pair of dark gray strappy sandal heels. Featured at the Alessandro Dell'Acqua Spring Summer 2003 collection. Subtle sexy without being too over stated and just pure relax elegance. Alessandro's style is about a rich Italian women that has a eclectic style of 40's and 50's with a modern confine twist. I just wish more women can dress in a sensual way rather than baring it all. What ever happen to the mystery of sexy?

return of the masculinity

For some reason, supermodel Robert Perovich is making it big with the new Jean Paul Gaultier "Le Male" ad campaign. Last week, I was at Sephora doing a little browsing and what struck me was his poster ad. I had to get a little closer look and I already knew it was Mr. Perovich. Gosh, so manly and charmful sensuality that I love about him. He's like one of the true male supermodels that has the whole package from his bone structured feature to his sexy toned body with a brilliant personality that makes him sought after male supermodel. I would love to see him grace the cover of Italian Vogue with either Isabeli Fontana or Daria Werbowy.

the noble one

Michael Kors must have for any season is a classic pair of black aviators. The most darkest black tint makes these sunglasses effortless and chic. Wear them with jeans and a white tee or an all cream suit, it all works. Mature and subtle sexy is what these sunglasses mean to me. What I love most about them is that their very simple but it has an edge that makes them different than all sunglasses.

empyrean sensitivity

Constance Jablonski and Mark Cox look effortlessly ethereal here in this Calvin Klein Spring Summer 2010 ad campaign. I love the industrial setting but yet mixed with the the modern chic red suit. It sorta reminds me of a matrix but in a more fashionable outlook. I love how their eyes look so stunned but with an ease feel. It's just one of those photographs that you gotta feel what the models emotions is giving. Another big inspiration for upcoming photo shoots that my friend and I are creating. Top secret.

glisten times

When it comes to sequin detailing, to me personally thats an automatic couture detail. Especially with this number from Alessandro Dell'acqua Spring Summer 2004 collection. It was about ultra feminine with a a 1950's twist. Shift sequin dress with floral print and jeweled neck and arm outline. This dress was also featured on the cover of Italian Vogue May 2004 of Daria Werbowy. It's a dress that you've got to wear at a big fashion event with minimal makeup, silver clutch bag and simple strap heel. It's not how you wear it, it's how you work the dress.

lucious sweets

I just can't stop starring at all the soft pastel colors of sea foam, lilac, sky blue, and turquoise from Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 collection. It's nice to see a complete change of color palette from designers. I am in need of a great pair of trousers. Trousers that have an edge  that are slightly different that your norm, such as these water colored tie dyed pastels. Very refreshing and brings a positive energy that I love. I would wear these trousers with the same cashmere V neck sweater, nude/beige pointed shoes with a silver toe cap, and for sure a white box clutch to bring neutrality to the overall look.

serious business

Artistic Director for Salvatore Ferragamo, Massimiliano Giornetti is one of my favorite Italian fashion designers. He knows exactly what a chic tailored fashion-able man wants to wear and looks forward of wearing. Before, I wasn't a fan of orange but the right type of orange can make a strong statement such as this tailored orange blazer. A single button is more of my forte when it comes to a blazer, maybe two the max. This over all look is just a ravishing yet basic. From the cut to the accessory man bag and orange dress shoes, it just goes so right. Hopefully one day when I make it, I will definitely replicate this look.

loud and clear

I find this "I love Dior" perfume ad very dazzling and catchy. Love the shades of blue, the models expression, the blown hair, her stance, the denim corset dress with all the different pins, and the artistic spray painted background. I miss these type of ad campaigns during the early millennium.  Hopefully they will be making a comeback for this new decade.

sueded tone

I'm not really a big fan of suede but this light blue/lilac suede jacket does it for me. It's ulta sporty with a strong collar edge. Featured at the Trussardi Menswear Spring Summer 2010 collection. You can wear this with cut off jeans or white slacks. The beauty of fashion now is that things don't have to match color but more of, does it all flow together?

incise precision

Michael Kors is known for taking American classic sportswear and tweaking it to his own version. We also know that he is best known for his shift dressing. For this Spring Summer 2010, he takes the classic shift dress and did slashes of plastic vinyl to show some erogenous zone skin. I find this ultra modern and chic. It's a new take for a new decade. I just love this black number in particular since it's bold yet simple. Definitely a look to wear at a black tie or roaming the streets of Barcelona with a white box clutch. This is the look if you don't want to bare it all but keeping it still personal.

Momento Copertina

Six years ago, top model Daria Werbowy graced the cover of Italian Vogue of May in 2004. I find this cover to be very ravishing and exquisite. Even though it's airbrush, Daria's look all works right. From the olive skin tone to the animalistic wide eye stare to the big muffler hair and to the jeweled Alessandro Dell'Acqua blouse top. Daria's beauty is too marvellous that it's almost like a painting. Steven Meisel knows exactly what he wants in his version of a beauty shot. I realized that I just love a close face beauty shot on a magazine cover, especially in Italian Vogue. Don't get me wrong, I love a full length or half body shot but I personally think it's important to recognize the model's captivating beauty.
