free to relax...

You can't go wrong with this simple loose fit knit sweater for this winter season. Very casual chic yet comfortable and warm. Neutral tones such as: ivory, limestone, or clay always works best with a pair of chino pants and suede loafers.

clear it out!

Trench coats are a big "must have" in every man's wardrobe. The newly trench coats are more of a minimal look without the buttons. I actually love it with or without the buttons. Definitely invest in a trench coat that will work on business trips or out on the town during this winter season.

sling it back!

I always think, if everyone is wearing boots then go against it! Sling backs are never out of style. Either with a tight pencil skirt or full skirt would perfectly set the mood for this coming winter. Never fear to be different than what everyone else is wearing. It's about setting the your trends than following.

warm it up!

Mink scarf? of course, though not everyone is a fan of real fur but their are always faux fur. Miuccia Prada presented a few mink fur scarfs that were loosely wrapped around the neck. Luxuriously chic yet sensible to add to your dressy look.

bend the rules!

I find it intricate to see a beautiful jersey dress with a dark tobacco brown deerskin leather belt. It definitely gives contrast to the look. Taming down romanticism with an avant-garde taste.

Flower Power!

I'm so thrilled to see this marvelous Missoni floral print chair. What's special about this chair is that it's widely spaced, thick cushion, & the clear transparent arm rest giving this chair a modern living.

short for a change!

My best friend & I are having a moment of reliving the short hairstyles of the 90's. Whether it's a classic bob, just like Hannelore Knuts in July 2000 Italian Vogue or a shaggy crop cut. It's all about change and reinventing ourselves to look more mature & to separate ourselves to the public eye. Try something different for a change, it could definitely have a new perspective on you!

Carry it with Grace...

Finally, the perfect dark tobacco brown leather in deerskin. Brass tone hardware and detachable shoulder straps. Versatile to use from day to evening or on weekends. This is one exquisite hand crafted tote bag.

being chic, part 4: the real women

Full skirt, button down shirt, leather pumps, & handbag is the real deal. It's all about less is more. Theirs no need to add a lot of jewelry or caked on makeup. It's marvelous to see a women wearing clothes that are very simple and ladylike. Why show it all off while you can still be sexy covered up.

Italian Glamour!

I am so mesmerized by this photograph of Kate Moss on the cover of Italian Vogue circa 1996. It has an old Hollywood feel with a funky eclectic mix by Dolce & Gabbana. Just makes me want to throw on a chic zebra print head scarve with a big satin fedora and a Fendi mink wrap.

being chic, part 3: always a classic pump

I think every women needs to have at least one pair of a chic pumps just like the image above. And I'm not talking about any kind of pumps. It has to have a good point on the front, sexy stiletto heel that is not chunky or yet too thin, and an appealing embossed leather whether patent black or dark tobacco brown pebble leather. They can go with any look whether fitted trousers or a full length skirt would definitely work.

Adam Lippes for HE by Mango

Adam Lippes is the creative designer for men's wear Homini Emerito by Mango. This past spring summer 2009 he created a whole variety of key essentials for the Mango man to add to his wardrobe. Nautical inspired knitted long sleeve henley hooodie, chino khaki fitted trousers, an ivory driving coat, & criss cross strappy flat sandals in tobacco brown just to name a few. What I love about Adam Lippes clothes is that he knows the consumers and what they would like to invest their money in something that will be worth to have based on quality, fit, & price range.

Back to Archives, Part 12: Airy like a leaf

Miuccia Prada created a collection of many warm color tones, several different printed skirts & blouses, and especially making room to show off the legs. What I love best about this Prada Spring Summer 2000 is that she always manages to make simplicity look sexy in a classy way. single braid chignon

I just love this simple little updo. The single braid coming from the front that goes to the back and combines with the chignon. Very classy, sophisticated, & ultra chic. This look was inspired by the Valentino Fall Winter 2004 collection. Gotta thank Hairstylist Eugene Souleiman for this creation.

Deliciate Essential

Organza flowers are one of the chicest essential to wear for any outfit on any occasion. They bring a certain sophistication and romanticism to your presence. It can be worn in a pulled back chignon or on a front shoulder like in the image from the Valentino Spring Summer 2005 collection. Choose a color that will compliment your look whether your wearing an evening dress or casual jeans and tee.

The "carrie" look

Sex and the City is one of my most favorite TV shows of all times, hands down. Here you see Carrie wearing a men's white button down shirt with a regular belt to accentuate the body silhouette. It's suppose to be a bit loose on a women's figure since it's gonna be fitted at the waist by the belt. Definitely sexy to show off them legs. Simple, festive, & for sure sexy with a touch of masculinity.

Back to Archives, Part 11: Subtle Sexy

Polos tops, high waist-ed pencil skirts, short long sleeve sweaters, chunky pin stripe prints, voluminous full skirts, long sleeve button downs, pleated full skirts just to name a few key pieces in this Prada Spring Summer 2001 collection. The simplicity mix with a bit of subtle 80's such as the bright color palette and long gloves. A ladylike women with a relax tailored made quality. You can never ever go wrong with the signature pointed Prada pumps that came in many different neutral tones and a few bright colors. What I adore about Miuccia Prada is that she can make simplicity look sexy without showing too much.

Being Chic, part 2: Back in Black

Dare to be uberly luxurious wearing the right black ensemble. You can never go wrong with black whether it's a fitted pinstripe suit or a formal black lace dress shown on the cover of Vogue Australia August 2008 by Nicole Trunfio. Super romantic yet Haute Couture. Hair pulled back tight in a big chignon with a braid wrapped around with a huge organza flower, nude simple lip with the most smokiest eyes that makes the pupils pop!

sport the belt bag

I was at Target yesterday and I came across this edgy looking belt bag by Hollywood Intuition. Perfect size for your personal essentials. Comes in Purple, Orange, Green, & Black. For the price of $19.99. Designer look for a reasonable price. What I love about this bag is the brass metal detailing, the softness of the leather, and how it has an easy open access flap. Not only can you use it as a belt bag you can also use it as a shoulder bag, across body, and a clutch. Great essential to add to your wardrobe accessories.

Equestrian anyone?

Though the main look of an equestrian is either a khaki or white fitted pants and popping red jacket. In the fashion world, everything is modified. The only difference would be instead of a red jacket it would be a black turtleneck. An all black equestrian look would definitely attract all eyes.

6 buttons

I think every man needs at least one double breasted jacket in a dark color. But what makes a double breasted jacket special is the right fit. So remember, if it's too snug, get one size up that should fit like a glove.

The Red Statement

I am infatuated with an all red suit look. It's very daring and bold to do and not a lot of people could pull it off. It has to be the right fit and tailoring. This Prada Fall Winter 2008 was a sharp number from the buttonless double breasted jacket to the patent leather red boots. Only the brave fashionistas can definitely make a red statement.

tuck it under!

I've been looking forever for the best document case bag and I think I found it! This eye catching crocodile patent skin with plaque logo by Furla is a must have for any women or man's accessory.
