Portraits by Vogue Hommes International

This Minnesota native, Mike Spadino featured in the current issue of Vogue Hommes International magazine. He has a look that reminds me of what the male models looked like during the 90's: Masculine, Alluring, and Sensual. I am hoping to see more of him in the upcoming mens fashion show and fashion editorials. Wouldn't it be interesting to see him and Isabeli Fontana together photographed by Steven Meisel?

un uomo elegante

When I first laid eyes on Simone Nobili at the Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 show, I instantly knew this young Italian stallion has what a male model should look and be like. He has a very youthful yet classic beauty with the dark hair and fair skin. He hasn't done much shows but I'm hoping he can be recognized in the fashion scene. He defines sensuality and elegance through his bedroom eyes and innocent stares. He stated in an interview that he describes himself in three words, "Introverted, solitary, and strange." which I thought appealing.

Extraordinary Elements

Jessica Miller to me is a classic women that portrays poise and classic. It's all in her eyes and subtle sex appeal that all just works so well. She was gaining popularity during the early 2000's but does here and there works for editorials and ad campaigns. I just adore her look so much.  It would  be nice to see her on the cover of Vogue Italia sometime soon. Lets go Steven!

New Kid on the Block!

For the month of July 2011, theirs a new kid on the block in the fashion scene. His name is Benjamin Eidem hailing from Sweden. This newbie definitely put himself on the map to stardom opening for Prada & Louis Vuitton for Men's fashion week Spring Summer 2012. I am just struck by his youthful & natural beauty. His innocent big round eyes, wavy dirty blonde locks, defined bone structure, and did I mention his define abs & pecs. Though he may seem to have the innocence, he for sure has one killer bod that you will never forget. I'm sure he's going to land major fashion magazines covers, editorials, and huge ad campaigns. I am for sure going to keep an eye on this Swedish hunk.

the right finish

It's been awhile since I lost blog and now it's time to updated the trends of this spring summer season. I can't get enough of the denim on denim ensemble. Mainly a medium light wash denim trouser shorts folded hem with a matching long sleeve button down shirt. Paired with a tan braided leather belt and flat strap sandals gives this look a mix between western with a fashion classic forward twist. I did try to attempt this look for L.A. Gay Pride 2011 this past June. But let me just say that Mango had a huge sale so I was able to purchase this entire look half the fraction price. Lastly, Vladimir Ivanov is looking hotter than ever, don't you agree?

summer is here!

Finally, a masterpiece moment that Steven Meisel's for Vogue Italia May 2011 of Kristen McMenamy on the cover. I love the icy long locks and the pale bright lighting. It brings a certain innocence and sophistication. Everything is just right on this cover. And the title: "Swimwear" is a smart idea of this theme. And this is what I love about his work is that he always captures an image that doesn't state the obvious of beauty. You have look within the imagine to find the beauty. This was all taken shot at the Chelsea hotel in New York. It has a bit eerie feel but very artistic and melancholic which I expect in a Steven Meisel cover shot.

unrecognized beauty

I didn't realized for the longest time how stunning Brazilian supermodel Leticia Birkheuer really is. I think she's a chameleon when it comes to beauty in every aspect. Whether she's a dark brunette shown here at the Versace Fall Winter 2003 show or as a natural dirty blonde. I'm actually her supermodel status isn't as overrated like other supermodels out there. But I do believe she deserves to be on a Vogue Italia cover by Steven Meisel. How can a natural not be shown on a coveted magazine. She's definitely on my top fav list. She has such class and poise with a dynamic personality. I think now a days she's into acting in some Portuguese soaps. Hopefully she can make a huge comeback fashion scene.

All in One

Few weeks back, I was looking through some male casting videos for Major Models, Why Not Models, & etc. I came across this all American boy name Jeff Tomsik. I remember seeing his casting video awhile back but after seeing him a second time, I'm having second thought about his look. He is one of those rare All American white boys that have that certain charm and charisma. After seeing his up close and personal video of who he is as a person and where he's from made me liked him even more. He comes from a small humble town in Ohio. What makes him an "it boy" for me is his eyes and killer body. He has those bedroom eyes that make you want to fall on a cloud of heaven. Crystal sky blue with a puppy eye feel. And talking about his body, can someone hose him down. Define pectorals, abs, torso, and everything more. He's an all in one male model that every women and gay guy wants all to them self.

dot dot weekend

You can never ever go wrong when it comes to Polka dot. I used to not be a fan of it but now I'm going crazy about it. It brings more life to the clothes with a cool and fun attitude. I just loved what Michael Kors did for his Spring Summer 2009 collection. It was about bold prints and strong statement pieces. This modern fitted dress that shows the midriff is so sexy with the ring detail. It's definitely a new way to look at new proportions and sex appeal without stating the obvious. If I were a woman, I would love to wear this on a cruise ship on the Caribbean sea. Pair it with white patent leather wedges and a red clutch bag for more of a statement look without being to overdone.

Fun In The Sun

I find it so genius of the citrus fruit print on a fabulous chain white leather bag by Stella McCartney. It's bright, bold, and summery with pure optimist. This is a great bag to own that can be worn with almost any sweet pastel tones of sage, lavender, sky blue, and chiffon yellow. I would wear this bag out at the south of France Riviera on a yacht boat all in a white ensemble with opaque black Ray Ban aviators. Now that would be a statement stopper.

Over a Decade

I've been wanting to blog about my most favorable supermodel: "Isabeli Fontana" that graced the cover of Vogue Brasil November 2010. She still holds classic, sensuality, and exotic. She has been around for more than 10 years already and is still going on strong. I love the fact that she has a such a define bone structure and crystal sky blue eyes. I bet if she were a man, she would still be hot. But not just looks wise, she is a mother with a heart of gold. It's amazing for a woman to look this good and be a mother. I think she's one of the rare supermodels that still deserves to be on the coveted covers of Vogue Italia. Come Steven & Franca, make this happen!

A New Spin

Lately, I've been thinking where are the good outside style of settings to do a fashion photo shoot. I came across this photograph of Anna Jagodzinska in a simple cute urban coffee shop wearing a cashmere long sleeve top and a matching cashmere beret beanie. But besides the clothes, what makes this photograph stand out to me is the natural lighting coming through the window. It has a raw and natural feel without looking so studio or photo shop perfect. I don't know who photograph this but it's one of my favorites at the moment. Another idea for my Iconic photography portfolio to create.

moonlight fun

The ideal of taking something classic and modernizing it is what fashion truly means to me. For instance, this translucent long sleeve tuxedo top in a navy blue color with a snug fit is the ideal finish. I love the fact that you can semi see through it yet it still stays classic with a smaller fitted collar and cuff. Paired with darker navy blue trousers style on top with a long john finish ankle at the bottom. Neil really understands what simplicity mix with modern fashion is about. Not a lot of men out there would wear this but I think if the right guy wears it, it's definitely a show stopper with a subtle sex appeal has it going on. If I had the body, I would so rock this look at Gay Pride Festival in Sydney, Australia. Dressy with a relax fit all in one.

stream lines

One of the biggest trends that I am looking forward to this coming Spring Summer is bold horizontal pin stripes on double breasted blazers. An important piece that can be worn with almost anything: jeans, pencil skirt, full skirt, mini, rolled up shorts, or over a chiffon dress. I love the clean lines and easiness it has. It reminds me of rich fabulous when during the early 90's that would wear it with high waisted pants and have that graduated bob haircut. So far, I haven't seen a lot of designers out there that has been featuring this look but I'm hoping it won't be played out when I finally get my hands on a piece. All by Max Mara Spring Summer 2011.

Rising Star: Anais Mali

I first caught eye on this gorgeous French mix beauty Anais Mali at the Michael Kors Fall Winter 2011 show. She looks very exotic and refreshing. She hails from Toulon, France of half African & Polish descent. This girl has it going on walking all major house hold fashion names such as Chloé, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Dior, & Nina Ricci just to name a few. She was also featured in American Vogue April 2011 in an editorial shot. She's also a very down to earth girl with a lot of charisma and humility. My personal goal for her is that  I'm hoping she will be on the cover of Vogue Italia by Steven Meisel sometime soon. She has the "now" look that needs to be featured. Come on Franca & Steven!

black noir

One of the biggest things I truly appreciate when it comes to fashion is the combination element of sleek, subtle sexy, comfort, and effortless. This black ensemble completes that entire DNA. This black number featured at the Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011 was a huge hit. Stella calls this dress the "Roseship dress"featuring in numeral cuts: short sleeve, sleeveless, long sleeve, and sometimes an open slit chest. All featuring with two thigh high slit that gives fluidity and appeal in motion. So far this is another dress that I would wear if I were a cute young girl during the Spring time at a black tie event. I just love the idea of something that looks super comfy yet cool and fun. You can accessorize with a chunky heel or thin stiletto heel paired with a simple clutch bag in any color tone. I'm hoping I can see this dress in person when I go to the Stella McCartney boutique in L.A.

fluidità di stile

For the past seasons, I haven't been feeling the current Missoni trends. I miss the Missoni era during 2002-2006. Especially this one look in particular for Spring Summer 2003. Erin Wasson wearing this silk print short skirt with a flowing train in the back that creates a sexy fluidity when you walk paired with a simple black chiffon tank top and black patent studded pointed heels. Very sexy but in a conservative way without stating the obvious. This collection has a super sexy fluidity of the prints. Easy colors of sky blue, deep blue, red orange, and black. If I were a women, I would wear this look on a summer day during a late lunch with my boyfriend in Cannes, France.

Moving Time

Magnificent Excess is what this Vogue Italia March 2001 cover look is all about. The idea of taking something from the past and making it look so timeless and classic a winner. Hannelore Knuts is personally one of my favorite top models. She has a look that makes you want to look twice. Artistic, Androgynous, and Sophisticated is what I see. I love the semi ghostly feel that this photograph was taken during the Michael Angelo era. Super moving and the lighting gives an illusion of sensual and original. I wishing that Steven Meisel will start to create these covers again.

so cool, so young

I've been meaning to make a blog on this ultra chic floral print dress Alber Elbaz created for his Lanvin Fall Winter 2011 collection. I love the fact that it's like a baby doll fitting with some volume and semi high shoulders. The print definitely says it all. It's a new take of what the trends are going for this coming Fall Winter 2011. I get a feel of a Little House on the Prairie vibe meets a young french girl that plays dress up with her mom's couture dresses. This is a dress that I would love to see Natalie Portman wear to some movie premiere with super non platform and a super high thin stiletto heels paired with a sequin clutch with a thin long strap to wear on the shoulder. Glad Alber Elbaz knows exactly where to go for this time of age.

surreal feel

What I love about Prada and Steven Meisel combine is the artistic feel you get all in one. The Prada Spring Summer 2004 ad campaign was sensual, mature, and a relaxed sophistication. From the lighting, color saturation, and texture, you get a sense of of a certain feeling that it's hard to describe. Steven always  captures something that makes you stop and focus on the sensuality of the portrait. I love the fact that the image looks always like a painting yet real, and that's a very surreal way to look at a fashion photography. Hopefully Meisel will create a cover look like this again for his current covers for Vogue Italia.

Danish Beauty

When I think of Martin Landgreve, I think edgy, modern, and ultra sex appeal. This Danish stud has the whole package of super male model. I first saw him featured at the Z Zegna Spring Summer 2011 show. I thought he had a very interesting look. He has a look that reminds me of the male models during the late 90's. Muscular meat on their body rather than super thin than the male models now a days. Has that certain sultry stare that reminds me what a male model looks like. I think he's absolutely a stunner. I am just crazy about his body, if I can have it for a day or weekender, don't' know if I can let go.

appel

This one shoulder sleeve open cut out mini dress is the deal breaker for me when it comes to clean lines and sex appeal. I love the cut out, neutral tone color, and the ease about it. Carmen Kass wore this dress when she won the Model of the Year for Vogue Fashion Awards 2000. She looked flawless with her short  graduated bob cut. It's definitely a show stopper dress to wear at any huge event in the fashion industry. This was designed by Cristina Ortiz for Lanvin Spring Summer 2001. I miss these types of clothing. It has a cohesive look with the entire collection. I feel like now a days not a lot of fashion designers don't do these looks anymore. I'm hoping for this upcoming Spring Summer 2012, there will be a comeback of true fashion.

pushing forward

It's so refreshing to see what Michael Kors does when he takes classic pieces and creates his own stamp look to it. This black poncho that gracefully accentuates the shoulders paired with a truculent chiffon loose trouser and metal neck choker is a sleek yet most comfortable feel. It's sophisticated and a modern way of dressing. I love the fact it's all in black. The truculent black trousers create an illusion of hidden sex appeal without stating the obvious which I find so demurring. A look to wear on a resort to Sicily or Greece.

vera bellezza bionda

It took me awhile until I realized how beautiful Anna Jagodzinska really is. I know she was featured on American Vogue Cover with Liya Kebede and Natalia Vodianova Nov 2009 and twice on the cover of Italian Vogue by the notorious fashion photographer Steven Meisel. But what caught my eye by her beauty was at the Chloé Fall Winter 2009. I think her true beauty came forward to me, shown in the photograph. She has that mystery and striking breath taking look especially with those icy blue eyes and soft light sandy blonde hair. She is a stunner when it comes to that late 70's/early 80's Brooke Shields look. I hope she will stick around the fashion industry.

Back to Classics

When it comes to shoes, it's all about the simple details that make the shoes look even more exquisite. For Chloé Fall Winter 2011, Hannah MacGibbon featured these shoes on the runway. A classic black patent leather pump with an added velvet bow tie. I thought this is aboslutely stunning. It's romantic and adorable. I'm just getting tired of those major high platform pumps, it is time to bring back the simple flat ball heel with a classic stiletto pump. Thank god Chloé doesn't fall the trends of what other designers do. These shoes would look flawless with a tight black long pencil skirt and a white/cream chiffon blouse top for a spin on a classic style.

Top secret

Here's another version of that braided leather bag featured at the Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011 show. This time it is in a long square shape shoulder handle. I adore the subtle yet craftsmanship of a bag such as this. I used to like bags with logos and flashy styles but now I'm all about things that are not stating the obvious yet different and still beautiful. This is a bag that if I had the money, I would absolutely invest in. It's the right size and shape for my personal essentials. I'm just glad not a lot of people are into this style which makes it even more treatable for me to own. I would wear this bag with hue tones of taffeta slate gray or navy blue on a nice day roaming the streets in Amsterdam.

Full Statement

Another strong look piece that really stood out to me was this gorgeous black loose translucent chiffon long sleeve full dress at Michael Kors Fall Winter 2011. It's simple, easy, and sexy without trying so hard. I love the idea of something so subtle yet not aggressive. Carmen Kass brings the outer beauty to any look. This dress can be worn practically anywhere of any season. Sensual dressing is a key look to have for this coming Fall Winter 2011 season. I would jazz this dress up with a shiny silver strappy stiletto heel and a silver long skinny strap bag for a mix and match feel. But the key is to keep accessory not over powering to the dress since it is a statement. Hopefully I can get my hands to see this dress up close and personal at the boutique stores.

My Future Love Affair.

The opening blog for my favorite month of the year "April" since my birthday is in it has to be no other than Dave Franco! Their are only a few male actors that I'm attracted to since I'm more into male models, but I had no clue until I discovered James Franco's brother Dave Franco. Once my eyes saw him, I already knew I'm a fan. It was just like love at first sight at the computer screen. I absolutely think he is extremely gorgeous in every aspect of life. He has nicely full eyebrows, full seductive lips, chiseled bone structure, and that sultry stare that not a lot of guys can convey in motion or in a photograph. But not only is he beautiful, he has a down to earth personality that I've seen in interviews. He is very modest and polite with such a humor persona which I find so cute about him. I am just obsessed with this photograph because it brings mystery and a story that you want to know why is he locked up behind these bars. I really think he has model potential, or at least in photographs. Hoping to see more of him in L'Officiel Hommes, Vogue Paris Hommes International or Homme Numéro. Love you Boo!

lusso essenziale

My dear friend Kendall knows me inside out when it comes to fashion. Especially investing in a great pair of shoes, overcoat, or clutch. But the one thing I'm craving at the moment is this super luxurious man tote bag in black alligator skin by Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2011. I like the fact that it has a slight midnight blue tone to it. From it's frame shape top handle closure to it's structured shape and sturdy handles, this is just a perfect man bag for me to use during my travels. It's spacious to hold your most important essentials. Skies the limit with any look. But my ideal look would be a cashmere heather gray turtleneck sweater with a pair of midnight blue fitted trousers and a pair of cognac oxford pointed shoes for a sleek yet easy dressing.

Like Me

For the longest time, I've been meaning to invest in a fabulous men's over coat for this past Fall Winter. But it's never too late to buy one. This particular overcoat that I saw featured at the Michael Kors Fall Winter 2011 show got me obsessed. Medium charcoal gray double breasted. Very simple, clean, and chic. I adore the original style it represents of my personal style. I love how it's also paired with a black cashmere turtleneck sweater and white tailored trousers. An ideal look that I would wear to fashion week in Milan. They go great with even a pair of jeans and a white tee underneath for a more relaxed look. But knowing me I always like to keep it classic with nice dress shoes, they hurt my feet but that's the beauty of looking good.

Homage to MK

One of the looks that got me interested in Michael Kors was his Spring Summer 2003 collection. It had 3 elements that I always look forward to in fashion: 1. Details 2. Form 3. Classic. After seeing this look that opened the collection, I already knew I'm a fan. Navy blue, white, and beige was the key color palette. The fitted navy cashmere cotton long sleeve top with a crisp white collar with button lining matched with a navy pencil skirt that had a ravishing white stitching along the buttons and pockets. I love the fact that this pencil skirt can be adjust on the button front. To finish the look with a off white pointed sling backs of a moccasin tie on the front detailing just made it sexy yet sophisticated to a level without being obvious.

stile androgino

I adore this photograph of these two men in this gray wool double breasted coats and matching trousers with side parted slick and shiny hair gives you the essence of a statement. From the pose to the setting, and lighting. It definitely brings a modern feel of what fashion is about now. I'm not really a big fan of men with long hair but with the right men, I think it can be executed very well. Another thing that I  adore is the lighting of this shoot. It gives an illusion of mysterious and toughness. I love the fact that fashion editorials are taken outside a studio. I love myself a studio shot but when it comes to an outdoor setting, it really creates the feel of something modern and creative.

piece together

One of the key pieces that stood out the most at the Chloé Fall Winter 2011 show was this over sized multi-block quilt print poncho. I thought this raved the Chloé name with a mix of Native American style and Menswear. Absolutely a bold statement to wear with anything underneath. This is totally a new direction for the French house of Chloé. The detailing of the stitching is beautifully crafted. I just wished more women are brave enough to wear something like this on any given day of the week. Hopefully I can find a similar style poncho to this.

in movimento

Creative director Hannah MacGibbon for Chloé featured these stunning bucket shoulder bags that came in numerous color tones of: olive, beige, ivory, cognac, and different tones and textures of python skin. At first I wasn't really a huge fan of these handbags but after seeing it at the Fall Winter 2011 show, I am just going crazy about them. I know Coach has a very similar style like these bucket bags which they discontinue making them. I'm hoping that I can get my grab of a very similar style that I can use for this coming Spring. I think these bucket bags bring a utility and on the go type style that works perfectly with any look day look. I would personally wear a cognac/brown color with slate gray fitted trousers with a matching safari jacket for that cool and ease sensibility.

click clack

When it comes to accessories, Michael Kors knows what makes an overall statement. For his Fall Winter 2011 show, he presented a stunning motif of metal silver tones with mirror reflecting details. I am amazed by these strappy chunk heel sandals. These are the shoes of the season for me personally. There sexy, modern, and fun. I'm not really a fan of platforms but these platforms are exceptional. You can wear these with a black poncho dress and a patent white clutch for a cool and comfortable look. I think it's all about having fun with accessories. Before was about if it matches with the look, now it's more about bending the rules and owning the look.

bright and bold

Feeling a little citrus mania for this Spring? Yes for me! I just love a bold and graphic print of citrus or any fruits of that matter. Stella McCartney gave that extra punch for her Spring Summer 2011 show. This gorgeous white blazer with the citrus fruits of orange and lemons on the panel sides gives a refreshing feel to any look. The black underneath blouse and dark pants gives this more of a pop. I would definitely rock this look for my upcoming birthday in April. I find it so festive to have a graphic print like that to any look whether it's just on a blazer jacket or on a dress.

all above

Stella McCartney really understands her female audience and her gay men audience as well. A great bag for me is something that is different from the norm. It has to have special detailing but yet simplicity. This leather woven shoulder flap bag is just the right bag to wear with anything dressy or casual. I love the fact that it reminds me of a rocking chair that I used to have when I was a child. It has that woven detailing on the back and bottom chair which I find it quite demurring. This bag absolutely looks great with a navy blue blazer jacket and dark navy blue trousers for that resort feel.

The Summer Look!

For Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011 was by far my favorite collection. It had a sense of comfort, lightness, & subtle sexy which I'm all about. This one dress in particular caught my eye and I knew I had to blog about it. It's Called the "Roseship dress" in a floral print silk. Long sleeve with a slit open center cleavage. It has a dual thigh high slit on the front that creates fluidity and movement. It's one fashion runway pieces that you must invest because it's timeless and that never goes out of style. I just love the innocence yet the subtle sexy appeal of the fluidity. This is a dress that I would wear to the Malibu Villa with a few friends and have a picnic on a bright sunny day. Match this with a brown strappy chunky heel sandals and medium size woven leather clutch. Thank you Stella!

backstage mania

This photograph of Isabeli Fontana backstage at Chanel Couture Spring 2010 just looks ravishing or in french "ravissant" This totally gives me an idea of my upcoming Iconic photo shoots. I like the idea of it's unpose, natural, yet super classic and chic. A definite backstage feel of a model getting her makeup and hair done. I love the busy feel yet the model looks so gorgeous without being so forced. I haven't seen that done yet as a cover for Vogue Italia. But seriously Steven Meisel needs to choose Isabeli as his cover girl. She has that versatile look that works for super sexy to super chic.

All Time Fav

It's been quite awhile since I last blog. I've been lazy, busy, working, and stuff. But finally I have the motivation to write again. So lets begin with my favorite fashion model "Isabeli Fontana" I am so spell binded by her beauty inside and out. She has those big gorgeous crystal blue eyes, perfectly define bone structure, and full sensual lips that every man dreams of. To me personally, she the modern version of the 90's supermodels of today. This photograph was at the backstage Versace Fall Winter 2011 show. I am just glad to see her making a huge comeback in the fashion scene again. My ultimate goal for her is that she graces the cover of Vogue Italian by Steven Meisel. Hope Steven & Franca decide to one day.

borsa da indossare

Yesterday, my best friend and I did some shopping and our weakness store no matter how many times we go there is Zara. Zara to us is like the eptiome of what sets the looks season to season. Luckily I found a great pair of denim skinny jeans and tobacco brown sandals for a great deal. As we were leaving I noticed this gorgeous cognac beige shoulder bag. As soon as I look at it and wore it around my shoulder, I already knew this is a must have bag for this coming spring. Retail price was $99. It's a little pricey but yet I am thinking about investing in one. It's called "Metal Plate Messenger Bag". The details of the gold metal underneath with the soft leather handles and easy access compartments makes it so wonderful. I just hope If this bag goes on sale, I can definitely get a grab on one.

on point

People say camel, I say beige nude with a hint of cognac. Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 oxford dress shoe with silver toe cap is my ideal shoe when it comes to dressing. The perfect dress shoe needs to have the right close form fit around the foot as well as a pointed toe. Match them with fitted cotton cream trousers and a lavender cashmere fitted crew neck sweater. A mixture of wearm neutral tones with a splash of pastel makes the look effortless.

rarità sessuale

Most male fashion models are very good looking. Sometimes even when made up but for me the true male beauty is that certain something that really draws your eye to them. This entails my sexual personal favorite, Sean Harju. It's strange how I first saw him in an backstage fashion show interview on youtube. At first he didn't really catch my eye but as I kept seeing more of him in fashion shows and especially editorial photograph shots, there was definitely something that was crossing my mind. He has those amazingly big round sapphire blue eyes and knows how to connect his eyes to the camera and deliver a strong emotion within. Whether he is giving that sultry stare like in the photograph or being silly a silly goose, he is an ultimate male model package for me personally. I love that fact he isn't such a serious person. He certainly has an extraordinary personality that shines and makes you think he's more than a model. It's funny cause every time I see him in a photograph he has a slight different look which makes him a chameleon that makes him stand out more than the rest of other models. I am in love with this Polaroid shot of Sean. There is absolutely something cooking behind those eyes of his.

beyond chic

What I would do to purchase this superbly chic cream colored military trench coat with round gold hardware button details. Thanks to Mr. Massimiliano Giornetti that has proven himself to the fashion house, Salvatore Ferragamo for Fall Winter 2011. He truly understands the Salvatore Ferragamo man and what he needs in his wardrobe for his daily needs. I just love the color, the simplicity of details, the cut and fit that makes it look beyond than a ordinary military trench coat. I would totally rock this entire look during men's fashion week in Milan with my best friend beside me. It's very rare to find a gorgeous looking cream colored trench since they are usually in a dark color but this one is definitely a winner for me.

all in one

I am so thrilled to see this gorgeous ecru alligator skin man clutch featured at the Gucci Menswear Fall Winter 2011 collection. I'm a huge huge fan when it comes to simple and architectural clutch bags especially in a exotic skin in a neutral tone. Very classic yet sophisticated without looking to feminine. I think every fashionable man out there needs at least one masculine clutch bag. It's easier to have your personal  essentials in your clutch bag than being bulky in your pant or jacket pockets. Hopefully more fashionable men like myself are willing to wear this out even to dinner. Thank you Frida Giannini!

vecchio al nuovo

I remember the Prada Spring Summer 2006 collection was about youth, playful, and charm. I love the idea of taking something simple and making it look even more modern than it is. This one number worn by Jessica Stam is a light pastel pink collar long sleeve wrap dress in a silky chiffon fabric with a yellow pleated chiffon detail on the side. I think it's one of those dresses that are vintage style but yet Miuccia taken it to a level that makes it look new and sexy without being to vulgar. Paired with black stockings up to knees and platform Mary Jane shoes for an innocent touch. Such a classic look to wear to the office or to host a tea party with close friends. Hopefully I can find a dress very similar to this that I can use for my Iconic photo shoot.

appel artistique

Sex and Candy is what this photograph comes to mind. AJ Abualrub has come such a long way in the modeling world. He has such a perfect physique. From his gorgeous piercing blue eyes, defined muscular body, and super even milky skin. I just adore this photograph of him licking the rainbow lollipop in this denim print boxer brief shorts. I believe the shorts is by John Galliano. The theme of this editorial shot is called: "Fiasco Sex Issue" by Lope Navo. I notice his style of photography is artful with a strong sex appeal. I think it's amazing to see sex appeal in a more modern way than the obvious. AJ is definitely a great candidate choice for a male prop cover for Vogue Italia.

Shorter the better

I just can't get enough of the high thigh men's shorts. They are the new way to wear shorts. And lets face it, men's shorts are suppose to be short as the word means short. There is nothing feminine or wrong showing off a man's legs. I find it fabulous to wear shorts like this at the Ermanno Scervino Spring Summer 2011 show worn by Evandro Soldati. The great thing about these shorts is that they are folded even more for a more detail and modern way to wear them. I love the fact they are paired up with a white half button loose cotton shirt and leopard print slip on loafers. Such an ease look to wear at a boat party or a stroll walk during a hot summer weather in Soho NY.

Pre-Summer Look!

It's hard to come up with a theme for my Iconic photo shoots that I've been doing for over a year already. But as I look back in the past of fashion, there are so many ideas that I just get a fashion orgasm out of. This one number in particular of Liya Kebede wearing a high waisted swim suit bottom with a halter bikini top in a cream color accessorized with a white fringe belt, fringe bow tie, and most important a collarless black tweed jacket  with mini pearl drapery detailing around the pockets and outline. This definitely gives a original style and feel that Karl Lagerfeld never disappoints us. A subtle sexy way to look inviting without giving it all. And Yes, I would wear this on a cruise ship or south of France during spring time.

Liquid Vinyl is what comes to mind when I see shiny leather material shown at the Prada Fall Winter 2010 collection. Miuccia is definitely bringing back the 60's style with her own modern twist. I am so feeling the 60's making a huge comeback of this new year 2011. I love how she took the basic elements of double breasted coats, strong shoulder, big collars, and sharp hem lines that make a great skirt and coat dress. The only thing is that why men and women now a days dress more put together like it was during the 1960's. I truly think the 60's is becoming one of my style and new aesthetic.
