All in One

Few weeks back, I was looking through some male casting videos for Major Models, Why Not Models, & etc. I came across this all American boy name Jeff Tomsik. I remember seeing his casting video awhile back but after seeing him a second time, I'm having second thought about his look. He is one of those rare All American white boys that have that certain charm and charisma. After seeing his up close and personal video of who he is as a person and where he's from made me liked him even more. He comes from a small humble town in Ohio. What makes him an "it boy" for me is his eyes and killer body. He has those bedroom eyes that make you want to fall on a cloud of heaven. Crystal sky blue with a puppy eye feel. And talking about his body, can someone hose him down. Define pectorals, abs, torso, and everything more. He's an all in one male model that every women and gay guy wants all to them self.

dot dot weekend

You can never ever go wrong when it comes to Polka dot. I used to not be a fan of it but now I'm going crazy about it. It brings more life to the clothes with a cool and fun attitude. I just loved what Michael Kors did for his Spring Summer 2009 collection. It was about bold prints and strong statement pieces. This modern fitted dress that shows the midriff is so sexy with the ring detail. It's definitely a new way to look at new proportions and sex appeal without stating the obvious. If I were a woman, I would love to wear this on a cruise ship on the Caribbean sea. Pair it with white patent leather wedges and a red clutch bag for more of a statement look without being to overdone.

Fun In The Sun

I find it so genius of the citrus fruit print on a fabulous chain white leather bag by Stella McCartney. It's bright, bold, and summery with pure optimist. This is a great bag to own that can be worn with almost any sweet pastel tones of sage, lavender, sky blue, and chiffon yellow. I would wear this bag out at the south of France Riviera on a yacht boat all in a white ensemble with opaque black Ray Ban aviators. Now that would be a statement stopper.

Over a Decade

I've been wanting to blog about my most favorable supermodel: "Isabeli Fontana" that graced the cover of Vogue Brasil November 2010. She still holds classic, sensuality, and exotic. She has been around for more than 10 years already and is still going on strong. I love the fact that she has a such a define bone structure and crystal sky blue eyes. I bet if she were a man, she would still be hot. But not just looks wise, she is a mother with a heart of gold. It's amazing for a woman to look this good and be a mother. I think she's one of the rare supermodels that still deserves to be on the coveted covers of Vogue Italia. Come Steven & Franca, make this happen!

A New Spin

Lately, I've been thinking where are the good outside style of settings to do a fashion photo shoot. I came across this photograph of Anna Jagodzinska in a simple cute urban coffee shop wearing a cashmere long sleeve top and a matching cashmere beret beanie. But besides the clothes, what makes this photograph stand out to me is the natural lighting coming through the window. It has a raw and natural feel without looking so studio or photo shop perfect. I don't know who photograph this but it's one of my favorites at the moment. Another idea for my Iconic photography portfolio to create.

moonlight fun

The ideal of taking something classic and modernizing it is what fashion truly means to me. For instance, this translucent long sleeve tuxedo top in a navy blue color with a snug fit is the ideal finish. I love the fact that you can semi see through it yet it still stays classic with a smaller fitted collar and cuff. Paired with darker navy blue trousers style on top with a long john finish ankle at the bottom. Neil really understands what simplicity mix with modern fashion is about. Not a lot of men out there would wear this but I think if the right guy wears it, it's definitely a show stopper with a subtle sex appeal has it going on. If I had the body, I would so rock this look at Gay Pride Festival in Sydney, Australia. Dressy with a relax fit all in one.

stream lines

One of the biggest trends that I am looking forward to this coming Spring Summer is bold horizontal pin stripes on double breasted blazers. An important piece that can be worn with almost anything: jeans, pencil skirt, full skirt, mini, rolled up shorts, or over a chiffon dress. I love the clean lines and easiness it has. It reminds me of rich fabulous when during the early 90's that would wear it with high waisted pants and have that graduated bob haircut. So far, I haven't seen a lot of designers out there that has been featuring this look but I'm hoping it won't be played out when I finally get my hands on a piece. All by Max Mara Spring Summer 2011.

Rising Star: Anais Mali

I first caught eye on this gorgeous French mix beauty Anais Mali at the Michael Kors Fall Winter 2011 show. She looks very exotic and refreshing. She hails from Toulon, France of half African & Polish descent. This girl has it going on walking all major house hold fashion names such as Chloé, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Dior, & Nina Ricci just to name a few. She was also featured in American Vogue April 2011 in an editorial shot. She's also a very down to earth girl with a lot of charisma and humility. My personal goal for her is that  I'm hoping she will be on the cover of Vogue Italia by Steven Meisel sometime soon. She has the "now" look that needs to be featured. Come on Franca & Steven!

black noir

One of the biggest things I truly appreciate when it comes to fashion is the combination element of sleek, subtle sexy, comfort, and effortless. This black ensemble completes that entire DNA. This black number featured at the Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011 was a huge hit. Stella calls this dress the "Roseship dress"featuring in numeral cuts: short sleeve, sleeveless, long sleeve, and sometimes an open slit chest. All featuring with two thigh high slit that gives fluidity and appeal in motion. So far this is another dress that I would wear if I were a cute young girl during the Spring time at a black tie event. I just love the idea of something that looks super comfy yet cool and fun. You can accessorize with a chunky heel or thin stiletto heel paired with a simple clutch bag in any color tone. I'm hoping I can see this dress in person when I go to the Stella McCartney boutique in L.A.

fluidità di stile

For the past seasons, I haven't been feeling the current Missoni trends. I miss the Missoni era during 2002-2006. Especially this one look in particular for Spring Summer 2003. Erin Wasson wearing this silk print short skirt with a flowing train in the back that creates a sexy fluidity when you walk paired with a simple black chiffon tank top and black patent studded pointed heels. Very sexy but in a conservative way without stating the obvious. This collection has a super sexy fluidity of the prints. Easy colors of sky blue, deep blue, red orange, and black. If I were a women, I would wear this look on a summer day during a late lunch with my boyfriend in Cannes, France.

Moving Time

Magnificent Excess is what this Vogue Italia March 2001 cover look is all about. The idea of taking something from the past and making it look so timeless and classic a winner. Hannelore Knuts is personally one of my favorite top models. She has a look that makes you want to look twice. Artistic, Androgynous, and Sophisticated is what I see. I love the semi ghostly feel that this photograph was taken during the Michael Angelo era. Super moving and the lighting gives an illusion of sensual and original. I wishing that Steven Meisel will start to create these covers again.

so cool, so young

I've been meaning to make a blog on this ultra chic floral print dress Alber Elbaz created for his Lanvin Fall Winter 2011 collection. I love the fact that it's like a baby doll fitting with some volume and semi high shoulders. The print definitely says it all. It's a new take of what the trends are going for this coming Fall Winter 2011. I get a feel of a Little House on the Prairie vibe meets a young french girl that plays dress up with her mom's couture dresses. This is a dress that I would love to see Natalie Portman wear to some movie premiere with super non platform and a super high thin stiletto heels paired with a sequin clutch with a thin long strap to wear on the shoulder. Glad Alber Elbaz knows exactly where to go for this time of age.

surreal feel

What I love about Prada and Steven Meisel combine is the artistic feel you get all in one. The Prada Spring Summer 2004 ad campaign was sensual, mature, and a relaxed sophistication. From the lighting, color saturation, and texture, you get a sense of of a certain feeling that it's hard to describe. Steven always  captures something that makes you stop and focus on the sensuality of the portrait. I love the fact that the image looks always like a painting yet real, and that's a very surreal way to look at a fashion photography. Hopefully Meisel will create a cover look like this again for his current covers for Vogue Italia.

Danish Beauty

When I think of Martin Landgreve, I think edgy, modern, and ultra sex appeal. This Danish stud has the whole package of super male model. I first saw him featured at the Z Zegna Spring Summer 2011 show. I thought he had a very interesting look. He has a look that reminds me of the male models during the late 90's. Muscular meat on their body rather than super thin than the male models now a days. Has that certain sultry stare that reminds me what a male model looks like. I think he's absolutely a stunner. I am just crazy about his body, if I can have it for a day or weekender, don't' know if I can let go.

appel

This one shoulder sleeve open cut out mini dress is the deal breaker for me when it comes to clean lines and sex appeal. I love the cut out, neutral tone color, and the ease about it. Carmen Kass wore this dress when she won the Model of the Year for Vogue Fashion Awards 2000. She looked flawless with her short  graduated bob cut. It's definitely a show stopper dress to wear at any huge event in the fashion industry. This was designed by Cristina Ortiz for Lanvin Spring Summer 2001. I miss these types of clothing. It has a cohesive look with the entire collection. I feel like now a days not a lot of fashion designers don't do these looks anymore. I'm hoping for this upcoming Spring Summer 2012, there will be a comeback of true fashion.

pushing forward

It's so refreshing to see what Michael Kors does when he takes classic pieces and creates his own stamp look to it. This black poncho that gracefully accentuates the shoulders paired with a truculent chiffon loose trouser and metal neck choker is a sleek yet most comfortable feel. It's sophisticated and a modern way of dressing. I love the fact it's all in black. The truculent black trousers create an illusion of hidden sex appeal without stating the obvious which I find so demurring. A look to wear on a resort to Sicily or Greece.

vera bellezza bionda

It took me awhile until I realized how beautiful Anna Jagodzinska really is. I know she was featured on American Vogue Cover with Liya Kebede and Natalia Vodianova Nov 2009 and twice on the cover of Italian Vogue by the notorious fashion photographer Steven Meisel. But what caught my eye by her beauty was at the Chloé Fall Winter 2009. I think her true beauty came forward to me, shown in the photograph. She has that mystery and striking breath taking look especially with those icy blue eyes and soft light sandy blonde hair. She is a stunner when it comes to that late 70's/early 80's Brooke Shields look. I hope she will stick around the fashion industry.

Back to Classics

When it comes to shoes, it's all about the simple details that make the shoes look even more exquisite. For Chloé Fall Winter 2011, Hannah MacGibbon featured these shoes on the runway. A classic black patent leather pump with an added velvet bow tie. I thought this is aboslutely stunning. It's romantic and adorable. I'm just getting tired of those major high platform pumps, it is time to bring back the simple flat ball heel with a classic stiletto pump. Thank god Chloé doesn't fall the trends of what other designers do. These shoes would look flawless with a tight black long pencil skirt and a white/cream chiffon blouse top for a spin on a classic style.

Top secret

Here's another version of that braided leather bag featured at the Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011 show. This time it is in a long square shape shoulder handle. I adore the subtle yet craftsmanship of a bag such as this. I used to like bags with logos and flashy styles but now I'm all about things that are not stating the obvious yet different and still beautiful. This is a bag that if I had the money, I would absolutely invest in. It's the right size and shape for my personal essentials. I'm just glad not a lot of people are into this style which makes it even more treatable for me to own. I would wear this bag with hue tones of taffeta slate gray or navy blue on a nice day roaming the streets in Amsterdam.

Full Statement

Another strong look piece that really stood out to me was this gorgeous black loose translucent chiffon long sleeve full dress at Michael Kors Fall Winter 2011. It's simple, easy, and sexy without trying so hard. I love the idea of something so subtle yet not aggressive. Carmen Kass brings the outer beauty to any look. This dress can be worn practically anywhere of any season. Sensual dressing is a key look to have for this coming Fall Winter 2011 season. I would jazz this dress up with a shiny silver strappy stiletto heel and a silver long skinny strap bag for a mix and match feel. But the key is to keep accessory not over powering to the dress since it is a statement. Hopefully I can get my hands to see this dress up close and personal at the boutique stores.

My Future Love Affair.

The opening blog for my favorite month of the year "April" since my birthday is in it has to be no other than Dave Franco! Their are only a few male actors that I'm attracted to since I'm more into male models, but I had no clue until I discovered James Franco's brother Dave Franco. Once my eyes saw him, I already knew I'm a fan. It was just like love at first sight at the computer screen. I absolutely think he is extremely gorgeous in every aspect of life. He has nicely full eyebrows, full seductive lips, chiseled bone structure, and that sultry stare that not a lot of guys can convey in motion or in a photograph. But not only is he beautiful, he has a down to earth personality that I've seen in interviews. He is very modest and polite with such a humor persona which I find so cute about him. I am just obsessed with this photograph because it brings mystery and a story that you want to know why is he locked up behind these bars. I really think he has model potential, or at least in photographs. Hoping to see more of him in L'Officiel Hommes, Vogue Paris Hommes International or Homme Numéro. Love you Boo!
