on point

People say camel, I say beige nude with a hint of cognac. Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 oxford dress shoe with silver toe cap is my ideal shoe when it comes to dressing. The perfect dress shoe needs to have the right close form fit around the foot as well as a pointed toe. Match them with fitted cotton cream trousers and a lavender cashmere fitted crew neck sweater. A mixture of wearm neutral tones with a splash of pastel makes the look effortless.

playing games

It's so nice to see Michael Kors use pastel colors for his Spring Summer 2010 collection. Pastels of lilac, sage, & sky blue. These two looks were my personal favorite from the collection. I love the neutral khaki trousers with the open pocket square detail and capris length trousers. Especially with the cotton pastel tones long sleeve sweaters. I just love how Michael added the cut out detail around the neck, wrist sleeve, and bottom torso for a destructed delicate look. A total must have for this Summer look. It's about feeling comfortable and adding detailed looks to make even the most simplest things look edgier.

The Kass Chain

This Kass chain bag by Michael Kors grew on me and since I saw it at the Michael Kors boutique store, I'm sold to purchasing it. I love how it only comes in two colors: black and white. Very simple but yet has a cool clear plastic chain with metal links. Wear this with a one piece black swim suit or with a tube full skirt dress on a low Thursday afternoon at a luncheon. What I love is that it isn't flashy but it has a certain edge that you just gotta look at it and see what it has to offer.

lucious sweets

I just can't stop starring at all the soft pastel colors of sea foam, lilac, sky blue, and turquoise from Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 collection. It's nice to see a complete change of color palette from designers. I am in need of a great pair of trousers. Trousers that have an edge  that are slightly different that your norm, such as these water colored tie dyed pastels. Very refreshing and brings a positive energy that I love. I would wear these trousers with the same cashmere V neck sweater, nude/beige pointed shoes with a silver toe cap, and for sure a white box clutch to bring neutrality to the overall look.

incise precision

Michael Kors is known for taking American classic sportswear and tweaking it to his own version. We also know that he is best known for his shift dressing. For this Spring Summer 2010, he takes the classic shift dress and did slashes of plastic vinyl to show some erogenous zone skin. I find this ultra modern and chic. It's a new take for a new decade. I just love this black number in particular since it's bold yet simple. Definitely a look to wear at a black tie or roaming the streets of Barcelona with a white box clutch. This is the look if you don't want to bare it all but keeping it still personal.

sipid & sweet

Ever since I saw the store manager Jill wearing this marvelous pastel blue sheath dress at the Michael Kors boutique store at South Coast Plaza location, I was sold. I didn't know it was that gorgeous when you see something off the runway. But when you see it in person, it's like a whole new level of deliciousness. From the cut, detailing zipper, & fabrication of movement. You wonder why Michael is so known for his classic tweaked American sportswear. If I were a  cute young girl with spider legs, this would be the dress that I would wear on my birthday.

white skies

When it comes to Michael Kors accessories, I think architectural structure, clean lines, and classic with a twist. This white ankle heel with clear single strap at front and silver metal stiletto makes the right statement for the women that lives in a urban city. You can wear them with a sky blue chiffon short robe dress or fitted short safari trousers. It's all about accentuating the not just the feet but the legs as well.

eccentric behavior

The perfect look if I had my own private Jet going to Sydney, Australia would definitely be this pure white number of a sports jacket, utility trousers with pockets detailing, & heather gray cashmere sweater underneath it. Featured at the Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 collection. Structured clothes with a lot of comfort and delicious easy fabrics. This look can be worn from day to night and not looking over the top nor to casual. It's about putting together the familiar with the unfamiliar and together combined you get the best of both.

hint of shine

It's about having a hint of shine on the feet. Michael Kors Spring Summer 2010 was about shine, architectural, & urban city. These super chic silver toe cap sling back in nude leather are a must have for this coming spring season. Best to wear with a full skirt solid pastel color with white fitted collar shirt or white fitted short trousers and cashmere crew neck sweater. It's about minimalist style with a sharper tone.
