Who would of ever thought Selma Blair would be on the cover of Vogue Italia July 2002. Though it's for the Cahier Des Défilés supplement, I still think this cover should of been an official Vogue Italia cover. I love the fact it's black and white and it has a reminiscences of the 1950's movie star still film image. Selma just looks effortlessly chic lounging on a boudoir sofa. I miss these type of classic beauty shots in magazines. Only the infamous Steven Meisel shot this. I believe beauty come first within the eyes, then everything follows. It's not always about showing or being sexy, the question is: Can you bring the seduction or sensuality within? Because Selma sure did in this photograph.
