surreal feel

What I love about Prada and Steven Meisel combine is the artistic feel you get all in one. The Prada Spring Summer 2004 ad campaign was sensual, mature, and a relaxed sophistication. From the lighting, color saturation, and texture, you get a sense of of a certain feeling that it's hard to describe. Steven always  captures something that makes you stop and focus on the sensuality of the portrait. I love the fact that the image looks always like a painting yet real, and that's a very surreal way to look at a fashion photography. Hopefully Meisel will create a cover look like this again for his current covers for Vogue Italia.

Iconic Ways

Let me just say that I am such a huge fan when it comes to full skirts. And not any skirt, full skirts that a lot of women wore during the 1950's but more with a less volume with more movement. Doesn't matter if  it's pleated, solid, stripes, or printed like shown in the picture. Full skirts are just incredibly ultra chic when it comes to dressing. You can wear it with a button down rolled up dress shirt or as I like the Miuccia Prada version with a sun bra top with a madras print or a long sleeve sweater with a high midriff for an ultra modern way of sexy. I absolutely just like this look. It's has a new foundation of taking something from the 50's but with more of an updated fresher take and vocabulary. If I were a a cute young girl that wanted to stand out on a hot summer day in the city, I would wear this look head to toe without a doubt.

The Movement Of a Real Women

When a women wears a blouse, full skirt, & pumps or sling backs on any day, that's what I call a real women. Theirs no need to wear ultra mini skirts or tight booty shorts unless your in Miami. But lets be real, a truly chic women needs to celebrate her femininity & her inner self without showing it all off. Remember, keep it classy and sexy comes from within.
