just a minute!

Another sensual dressing is a gorgeous cashmere single sleeve off the shoulder top that can work with either high waisted fitted shorts or pleated trousers with a tapered ankle. This look featured at the Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2010 collection was one of my personal favorite. It was about having the freedom to feel effortless. A splash of tailored short trousers with a basic top with a modern cut. Not only legs are sexy, shoulders are flirtatious too.

white skies

When it comes to Michael Kors accessories, I think architectural structure, clean lines, and classic with a twist. This white ankle heel with clear single strap at front and silver metal stiletto makes the right statement for the women that lives in a urban city. You can wear them with a sky blue chiffon short robe dress or fitted short safari trousers. It's all about accentuating the not just the feet but the legs as well.

The Easter Look!

So if I were a cute young tall girl, this is the look that I would wear for Easter. White fitted short shorts, gold leather belt, light pastel green leather fitted jacket, gold strappy stiletto heels, printed palm tree and fuchsia flower print head wrap with an exotic bright pink flower and topped with a delicious gold wristlet clutch bag and a shocking pink lip. All these elements combine creating a happy spring time look. Whether your just with your boyfriend having mimosa or egg hunting with the nieces and nephews, this is the time to look and feel uplifted inside and out.

show em off

With the warmer weather changing in April, you just know you have to put on the color palette and a looser light fit silhouette whether it's novelty pants or a translucent blouse. This season is about having the freedom to feel relax and soaking up the beautiful sunset. I love a bright splash of chiffon orange off the shoulder long sleeve blouse with an accentuating fitted cut trousers. It brings a resort attitude with a calming outlook. Don't be shy to show some skin, keep it subtle for sensual mystery.

colour code!

I am so excited for this new month of April 2010. Lots of important events such as my birthday, party events, shopping, etc. Not only it's Spring time, but colour is peaking it's way through for this spring season. My introductory for this month is model Lydia Hearst on the cover of Vogue Italia Apr '04 shot by Steven Meisel. I am so sweep by her classic chic beauty. The purple/lilac eyeshadow with the slicked back hair and brushed up feather eyebrows makes this spring real. My advice, add a splash of color to any look whether it's a tote bag or a bright colored matte eyeshadow. Pastel colors always puts people in a good mood in any situation.

boldly light

I still can't get over the contrast between masculine dressing on a women. It brings a strength and fragility in a nostalgic sense.  A great pair of loose fit pleated light ivory trousers tapered at the bottom with a oversize cream strong shoulder sports jacket definitely gives a more humble sensuality dressing. This look is just well put together without trying to bear it all. Wear it off with a nude or light beige ankle boot for an overall gentle romanticism feel.

Inspector Gadget

One of my signature pieces that I personally love the most is a fabulous panama hat. Featuring here, model Garrett Neff wearing this ultra chic orange red straw panama hat with a black satin band detailing at the Salvatore Ferragamo Menswear Spring Summer 2010 collection. It goes so well with almost any look whether dressed up or dressed down. I love the overall look with the tobacco brown leather trench coat and orange cashmere cardigan sweater. It has a slightly Inspector gadget vibe with a more relaxed look.

velvet knot

Their is so much inspiration after seeing the new Chloé Fall Winter 2010 collection. Artistic Director, Hannah MacGibbon understands the Chloé DNA & what the customer wants in every Prêt-à-Porter show. Let's begin with this simple looking new black velvet bow tie. It's a new take on a more relax styled bow tie with a country feel on a modern take. Wear it with a neutral long sleeve collar top with gray skinny trousers or a dark beige novelty pants.

rustic affair

Three quarter length knit coats are a fundamental key to being sophisticated yet comfortable and warm during the cold winter season. This one in particular is just divine from it's thickness and it's neutral gray charcoal tone. I love how it has a high thick collar, a belt strap, and side front pockets. Basic with a Dolce & Gabbana flair. Definitely an investment to own a couple three quarter length knit coats. I would personally style it with a heather gray turtleneck sweater underneath, very dark blue fitted jeans, and tobacco brown oxford pointed shoes for a casual city chic look.

absolve aspects

At the moment I am obsessed of a light cream colored sports jacket. This one in particular is a Chloe Cream silk blend twill jacket with transparent crystal embellishment on the collar with structured shoulder silhouette. It adds lightness and purity to any look. Wear it with high waisted black trousers and tobacco brown pointed sling backs for a out on the night look.

Forward Pace

The freedom to feel free is a big essential for this winter season. This gorgeous light mocha beige silk jersey full pleated skirt is just the right day piece look. I find this full pleated skirt to be romantic and airy. Makes you want to run in a field of  sunflowers in early spring. Top it with a light cream chiffon long sleeve blouse and a playful black velvet pumps for a languid look.

A Dreamer's Dream

Milan Vukmirovic, chief designer for Trussardi 1911 knows what the fashionable man wants in his dream wardrobe. An important piece shown here is a very classic dark navy blue military inspired short coat. I love the gold zipper detailing on the shoulder and cuff sleeve. It defineatly gives a minimal modern detailing without the buttons. What I find fascinating about Milan Vukmirovic workmanship is the cut of the clothes. A fabulous cut can make the body have a strong structure. It's very important to me that clothes must fit like a glove. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it!

amusing amenities

I think every women needs at least a couple of stylish brooches. Whether it's a vintage or a new one, you can't go wrong with a chic brooch that can add a little punch to any look. I am in need of this Vivienne Westwood silver rhinestone brooch of the logo symbol Saturn looking planet with a cross above. You can wear it with a light beige sports jacket or a black cashmere sweater just to add a little sparkle to any look.

dashing comical

I love the idea of mixing something military with a basic. This jersey cotton thick strap tank dress in charcoal gray with a military inspired white hat, white medium hobo clutch, and low heel pump makes a fun cool ease look. It's about being playful and having fun with the accessories. A basic look always needs accessories to make the look alive. Just another idea of what I can wear to this coming Spring Summer.

clearing skies

Today marks the first day of March 2010 of a new beginning. Featured here, Jessica Miller on the cover of French Vogue, June 2002 taken by photographers Ines van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. I am totally infatuated with the whole farm girl look with the dark blue denims overalls, long semi messy sweep hair, and natural matte face with a nude lip. But what stand out more to me are the beautiful straw wheat green fields, the refreshing blue skies, the exquisite beaming sunlight, and most of all Jessica's immaculate piercing eyes. Makes me want to run in a green field of an exhilaration of freedom.
